Granja Legaria II, Navarra

For the Spanish Pavilion at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, celebrated in this edition under the motto ‘The Laboratory of the Future,’ the architects Eduardo Castillo-Vinuesa and Manuel Ocaña curated ‘Foodscapes’, a multidisciplinary project that tackles all the scales involved in the production, distribution, and consumption of food. The Pamplona-based photographer Pedro Pegenaute participates in the installation with fifty images that depart from his more conventional work, proposing suggestive scenes whose value goes beyond the mere design of the space and which prompt to reflect on the architectures that configure our food systems and their role in them.
