During the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Empire Polo Field was transformed into a caleidoscopic landscape filled with a selection of large-scale installations. Curated by the Public Art Company, this edition’s exhibition combined art and technology through plays of light, colors, forms, and scales. Alongside HANNAH’s robotically-fabricated parametric wooden sculptures and the empty pyramidal structure by Nebbia Works, Morag Myerscough added a touch of fantasy to the festival’s desert landscape with Dancing in the Sky, a colorful immersive installation that unfurls like a geometric plaza and welcomes attendees through a series of porticoes and kinetic elements, abstract in form, that appear to sway in harmony with the festival’s energy.
