Twenty-eight American screenwriters have recently brought up lawsuits against several different television networks and film studios for 200 million dollars because they feel discriminated against on account of their age. All of them are over 40, and in Hollywood the norm is not to hire anyone over even 30 years old for the invention of movie and tele-vision story-lines. Experience has ceased to be considered a criterion, and it is only a matter of time before this situation is transferred to other professional fields of the kind more re-sistant to change, such as architecture, where youth has in fact already begun to be a factor of positive discrimination...
