AV Proyectos 130: Economía circular
Works in Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, France & Spain

AV Proyectos 130 focuses on circular economy, a current topic addressed with works by Herzog & de Meuron, BeAr, and Harquitectes, among other offices, and with an essay by architect Mireia Luzárraga, from the studio TAKK. This theme of discussion also takes us to Venice for a conversation with Manuel Bouzas and Roi Salgueiro, curators of the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. The issue also covers the construction of new headquarters of Radio Télévision Suisse in Lausanne, by OFFICE Kersten Geers and David Van Several. The usual culture sections begin with the account of a summer trip to China of Luis Fernández-Galiano with Gong Dong, director of Vector Architects. And back in in Venice, the exhibition Diagrams, curated by AMO/OMA, draws attention to the importance of data representation. The issue closes with a still image from Juan Cavestany’s film Madrid, ext., an intimate portrait of the streets of the Spanish capital.
