The Indian city is suffering a fast process of modernization that has resulted in improvised urban development plans which have affected the main historic centers. The purpose of the project is thus to recover the urban planning and traditional domestic architecture in one of those paradigmatic sites: the ‘Pols’ of Ahmedabad, where the urban fabric has worn out gradually while the infrastructures and public spaces disappeared.
