The temporary exhibition displays projects and designs in a 186-square-meter space at the base of the building by ZHA next to the High Line in New York. The show covers the work of the architect – who passed away in 2016 – since its beginnings in the 1970s, as well as the current projects of her London office. Throughout her career, Hadid explored design and materiality on all scales, applying the same concepts to furniture design, fashion, and jewelry, which led her to set up Zaha Hadid Design in 2006, collaborating with manufacturers and craftspeople.
