For the Vinçon installation in Barcelona, back in 1976, I manually redrew an entire room, its corners, the window, the shadows, with free strokes and colors. The result of that gratuitous and redundant action on the room was like putting a mask on a face, or better, like applying make-up to fix, highlight, and exaggerate its features, enlarging or sharpening a pair of eyes...
