On show up to 30 March at the Barrié de la Maza Foundation in La Coruña, ‘Rafael Moneo. Una reflexión teórica desde la profesión’ centers on the importance of drawing as a work tool and as a means through which to capture how the mind of the Navarrese architect ticks. The curator, Francisco González de Canales, has organized the exhibition in five stages of Moneo’s career, stretching from his early training to the global professional practice he runs today, passing through his finding a language of his own – exemplified by works like the Bankinter offices –, the leap into the international scene with the Museum of Roman Art in Mérida, and his stint as director of architecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
