The author of an extensive body of work spread out throughout Spain passed away in Segovia on 21 September at the age of 88. After graduating from the Madrid School of Architecture in 1957, he began to work in the capital with José Carlos Álvarez de Toledo, with whom he built the Cinzano Factory, among other projects. He also collaborated with colleagues like Javier Carvajal and Fernando Higueras. Later, on his own, he became a reference in residential architecture thanks to the La Santa development in Lanzarote, the Episcopal Commission Residence on Arturo Soria street, or his luxury apartments in Madrid’s gridded extension, with their unique bold corner solutions.
