On view this summer of 2024 at Museo ICO is ‘Moments in Architecture,’ an exhibition originally set up at the Vitra Design Museum. It comes to Madrid as part of the PhotoEspaña festival, but this is not the first time for the spectacular photography of Iwan Baan (Alkmaar, Netherlands, 1975) to hang on ICO’s walls. In 2014, coming then from the Barbican Centre, ‘Constructing Worlds’ aimed to make us reflect on the contemporary ecosystem of the architectural image, caught halfway between documental professionalism and the two-directional shifts of an artistic and conceptual nature.
