On 9 May, Fundación Arquia hosted an encounter with David Chipperfield in which the Pritzker laureate of 2023 talked about his relationship with Spain and spoke of Fundación RIA, the non-profit agency he set up in 2017. A thinktank that contributes to analysis, reflection, and strategic territorial planning, it is soon to open a space in the heart of Santiago de Compostela that will be called Casa RIA. Open to the community, it will develop and run a broad public program of activities.

The event was kicked off by Javier Navarro Martínez, president of Fundación Arquia and Arquita Banca, with an address by Manuel Rodríguez, director of Fundación RIA, and ended with a round of questions where Luis Fernández-Galiano acted as moderator.
