A ceremony was held on 8 May in Madrid to announce the winners of Archiprix International, an award given biennially to the best graduation projects submitted from architecture schools all over the world. In this edition, coordinated by the Madrid School of Architecture and marked by a high degree of social awareness, there were 351 entries from 87 countries, and the awardees were ‘Archipelago Lab’ by P. Pitarch, ‘Architecture and Extreme Environment’ by A. Debnorova, ‘Architecture of the Synthetic, the Spectacular, and the Belligerent’ by F. Cooper, ‘COOP’ by S. Benenati and J. Tellechea, ‘Diary of an Architect’ by V. Francés, ‘Recording and Projecting Architecture’ by F. Doria, and ‘Red Meat’ by J. M. Martín and A. Caracuel.
