Alberto Campo Baeza, office building in Miami

Alberto Campo Baeza has for the property developers Sumaida + Khurana y Bizzi & Partners designed an office building to go up in Miami's South Beach neighborhood. Combining white concrete, glass, and marble, it will rise around a large central atrium. Each level expands outward with generous terraces. The scheme is also marked by its flexibility, easily adaptable to spatial needs. Besides offices, the building includes a gym and restaurants. The firm Gabellini Sheppard will design the interiors. Construction is to begin in the summer of 2022.

Based in New York, Sumaida + Khurana collaborated with Tadao Ando in designing the condominium 152 Elizabeth Street, and with Álvaro Siza for the residential tower 611 West 56th Street. Both are in New York. As for Bizzi & Partners, operating from New York, Milan, São Paulo, and Tallin, it worked with Renzo Piano on the apartment building 565 Broomo SoHo in Manhattan and Eighty Seven Park in Miami. Both firms recently decided to join hands in developing a wide range of high-end residential and commercial buildings in the United States.
