‘Change of Climate’ is the motto of the fourth international congress organized by the Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad for 29 and 30 June, in Pamplona. The previous congresses focused on austerity, solidarity, and the necessary as tools with which to address the crisis, and this new one tackles both the change of climate taking place in architecture, which the crisis has put at an economic and ethical crisis, and the importance of architecture and urban planning in meeting the challenges of climate change. Leading world architects will be speaking, including Rem Koolhaas (opening lecture), Pierre de Meuron, Kjetil Thorsen, Jean-Philippe Vassal, Iñaki Ábalos, and Bjarke Ingeles (closing lecture).
