The lack of detail maps of the most populous city of Nigeria and the second in Africa, being as it is under constant transformation, prompted to develop a map reflecting the relationship between the local conditions and the specific urban context.

With one third of the city area covered by water, a centralized power network that is reliable only three hours a day, and a poor public transportation network, the intervention focusses on the infrastructures for water, transportation and energy.

Combining the lessons of local expertise with global technology, the proposal generates a network of infrastructures characterized by a series of physical and strategic prototypes that bring together small- and large-scale interventions.
