‘Granatum,’ is the motto of this project, designed in collaboration with AH Asociados. The project reflects a desire to become a distinct landmark in the city thanks to the hexagonal grid that structures its glass facade.
The design relies on structurally stable forms to avoid the use of columns. The hexagonal mesh is adopted to this end, but also in order to effectively relate spaces at half a level distance from one another.
In the interior, the large concert hall – with capacity for 1,500 spectators –, offers a wide range of fan-set balconies that open up to the stage, generating a social space in the way of the Italian operas.
