On the outskirts of Paris, close to the Villa Savoye of Le Corbusier, a series of small structures will direct the flow of visitors arriving at the future ‘Parc des bords de Seine’ designed by the Paris-based landscaping architects Agence Ter. The form of the pieces emerges as a hybrid of two elements present in the environment: the floating barge and the outline of the archetypal suburban house. One same system of modular structural frames generates a wide range of variations and adapts to the different programs: visitors’ center, restaurant, observatory and a dozen pavilions.
