Founded in 1964 and based in Barcelona, Vidres Berni is a family-run company dedicated to providing technical solutions in glass. It specialises in unique projects whose complexity requires both extensive experience and the ability to adapt to new market demands. These include the opportunities and new projects offered by technological tools, such as the BLK360 3D laser scanner.

Starting from architectural designs or creative ideas, the company carries out measurements on site using a 3D scanner that allows spherical images with a high dynamic range to be obtained from the point cloud acquired for the projection and elaboration of glass surfaces for subsequent production in the factory.

This technique makes it possible to measure the radius of curvature of glass pieces for spiral staircases, such as the installation that Vidres Berni carried out for the Toulouse Business School or the GreenVia Building project; as well as glass pieces for large openings with curved shapes, such as the project carried out for Caixaforum Valencia.
