The Continuous Monument (New New York), 1969-1970

Adolfo Natalini and Cristiano Toraldo di Francia founded Superstudio in Florence in 1966. Gian Piero Frassinelli, the brothers Roberto and Alessandro Magris, and Alessandro Poli would later join the architecture, art, and design collective. Just as other groups born during that period, like Archizoom or Archigram, the radical and utopian architecture of Superstudio had a huge influence on the following generations, and their ideas live on. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the group’s foundation, a retrospective exhibition gathers the most important pieces of work carried out by the team until its dissolution in 1978, showing a wide range of proposals illustrated with powerful, captivating images...
