01/01/2014

‘Slow Talk’, the first individual exhibition in Spain devoted to Bohnchang Koo, includes 28 images from the artist’s most representative series, using white as predominant color, and always centered on one theme: the relentless passage of time. Koo was born in Seoul in 1953 and studied photography at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. He currently lives and works in his native city, where he directs the Geonhi Art Foundation and teaches at Kyungil University. Considered to be a key figure of contemporary Korean photography, his work is included in several collections, such as those of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
