(1949-1993)

An architect and professor at Madrid's School of Architecture, Mario Bernedo combined his professional practice and teaching activities with stage set design. In 1985 he won the Spanish Theater Award for his work in El amor enamorado, by Lope de Vega, and one outstanding assignment of his was the scenography for the film Ay Carmela. He passed away on February 5.
