Manuel Álvarez Dietro’s photo series connects his travels with architectural spaces that feature air conditioning systems. The idea is to highlight this technology as a symbol of human absence. The images were taken during the pandemic and in moments of sociopolitical or economic instability and warfare, in cities like Benidorm, Beirut, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Seoul, and Tel Aviv.
