Barcelona has officially opened the latest segment of line 9 of its metropolitan raiway system, to which the team formed by Jordi Garcés, Daria de Seta, and Anna Bonet has contributed three stations: Amadeu Torner, Parc Logístic, and Mercabarna. Each is outstanding in the clean and sensitive way it incorporates the powerful preexisting architecture. The work, which sought to be “more geological than built,” has earned the architects the FAD Award for Interiors.
