‘Rendering the Collective in the Circular City’
Davide Curatola is the cofounder, with Alessandro Guida, Viviana Rubbo, and Isabella Sassi, of Urban Reports, a collective of documentary photographers that studies contemporary landscapes on a European scale. As part of the research titled Representing the collective in the circular city for the Spanish Pavilion at the Seoul Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism 2019, the photographic project ‘Hiding landscape. Building landscape’ takes the southeast area of Madrid as case study and explores the surroundings of the M-45 highway, unveiling unusual spaces and places under transformation.
