The project replaces the old funicular and strengthens the connection between mountain and city by shortening the distance between them with a one-minute ride, making room for nature in the base station and creating an urban square in the top one.

The stations are visually connected through large round openings that frame the views of one over the other; the base station rests on an artificial topography and the top station contains a restaurant, a swimming pool, an urban square, and a panoramic lookout.
