The Galician company Comenza, which specializes in developing industrialized railing and handrail systems, presents the PVD Black Finish for its GlassFit CC-800 and GlassFit CC-775 glass railings, offering it as an alternative to polished and stainless-steel finishes.
This new finish is applied to the stainless-steel product using a vapor deposition technique that makes for high resistance to factors like exposure to UV rays, detergents, solvents, and pollution. It is available for application in the GlassFit CC-800 clamp system and the GlassFit CC-775 button, both designed for private use in Spain. They withstand a horizontal load of 0.8 kN7m, with a safety coefficient of 1.5, in compliance with CTE safety requirements.
A clamp system developed for robust glass railings with a stylish pristine design. The anchoring system allows installing panels of up to 1700 mm for private use and 1400 mm for public use. Because of improved modulations, fewer clamps are needed per meter of railing, not to mention fewer anchors to be made and less time spent on installation. The result is a price that is more competitive than those of similar systems. Level 3D (a 3-axis leveling system) and Slot 180 (a slotted positioning system for linear adjustment) are mechanisms incorporated into the clamp which make a perfect alignment with the glass possible even with irregularities in the slab.
A solution for glass balustrades with side adaptors in AISI-316 stainless steel that incorporates the Level 2D device to level the glass panels quickly and easily, even with the glass already installed. It is designed in accordance with CTE standards for use in private spaces (0.8 kN/m), such as single-family homes, hotel balconies, apartment building balconies, stairs, etc.
