The Galician company Comenza, a manufacturer of railing systems and handrails, has launched GlassFit SV-1801, a cutting-edge solution for glass balustrade profiles. Designed in accordance with international regulations for use in public spaces, it includes LED lighting technology with which to create aesthetic effects and ambience, in addition to the usual interior drainage features, glazing kits, end caps, and accessories.

This solution is expressly thought out for places that take in large crowds of people, such as stadiums, concert halls, and train stations, and in areas exposed to strong wind loads, such as rooftop terraces, balconies, and viewing platforms. Allow glass heights greater than 1.100 mm. The profile hole and the glazing kit are specially designed to allows glass parapets as thick as 21,52 mm, 25,52 y 30,38 - 30,76. The product is so light and strong at the same time as to make a minimalist aesthetic perfectly feasible. The system is compatible with chemical anchors, which make it solid and stable on site.

Another innovative feature of the product is that, simply by turning the profile, the drainage holes can be made to point towards the inner or the outer side of the railing.

The advances incorporated that increase anchoring capacities – more anchors per meter, allowing heavier and larger glass parapets – make installation faster and simpler.
