This upcoming April 17th, at 6 pm (CET), the IE University School of Architecture and Design invites you to a conference by the Prof. Sadie Morgan, founder with Alex de Rijke and Philip Marsh of the dRMM studio. The lecture will position design as an agent of sustainability at all scales and will include case studies from individual projects to nation-wide infrastructure, illustrated through Morgan’s spectrum of roles and range of experience. Sadie Morgan will share experiences from her personal practice, demonstrating the interconnectedness in the role of sustainable design with each tier of industry and practice connected with the built environment. Her talk will also focus on non-architectural aspects of developing sustainable design, highlighting the role of strategy, research and joined up thinking. Also, will draw examples from her experience organizing and chairing focus and advisory groups that have given voices to a spectrum of thinkers, designers, and researchers at different levels of industry.

Is a free lecture, but is necesary to reserve the spot: eventbrite
