Teatro Regio of Turin, 1965-1973

Carlo Mollino died on 27 August 1973 in Turin, the city where he was born on 6 May 1905, and which on that day of his demise was still empty because of the summer exodus. Thanks to the initiative of some of his pupils – Carlo Brino, Roberto Gabetti, Mario Federico Roggero – his vast archive in the atelier on Via Cordero di Pamparato was saved from dispersal, finding a home in the library of the School of Architecture in Valentino Castle, where he had been teaching since 1953...
