The new outdoor furniture collection by Zaha Hadid Architects pays tribute to the Mediterranean way of life and brings together the British studio’s experience in the world of design with the knowledge of materials of the Spanish brand iSiMAR. Named after the Greek word for place, the TOPOS series evokes the time spent with family and friends resting by the sea, soaking in the swimming pool or under the shade of pine trees. Inspired by the geographic concept of topography, each piece reflects the contour lines of the cartographies in representation of the rich Mediterranean landscapes and the quality of life they offer. To guarantee its duration in corrosive outdoor environments, the furniture is manufactured with pieces of recycled galvanized steel that can be reused until the very end of their life cycle.
