In the context of Festival Open House Madrid 2024, the MINIM gallery is showcasing photographs by Luis Asín until 26 October. Curated by Enrique Encabo and Inmaculada Maluenda, ‘Modern Madrid, Through the Eyes of Luis Asín’ offers a photographic interplay of angles, perspectives, and details with building works by Miguel Fisac, José María García de Paredes, Fernando Higueras, Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oíza, and more. The images are accompanied by texts which are reflections and recollections of Luis Asín (Madrid, 1962). “With this exhibition I have had the opportunity to photograph architecture the way I like. With total freedom, like a walker, without tripods or the constraint of fulfilling an objective for a report,” says Asín.
