Born in Crailsheim (Germany) in 1970 and based in Munich, Bernhard Lang started out his career working as an advertising photographer, specializing in fashion. Since 2010 he has focussed almost exclusively on his project ‘Aerial Views,’ taking photographs around the world from helicopters or small aircrafts; images with the double aim of portraying the impact of human activity on the environment and of capturing the abstraction within the compositive order that structures those landscapes.
