The Barcelona firm BCQ arquitectes recently unveiled its design for the construction of a Museum of the Civil War in the city of Teruel, a project promoted by the regional autonomous government of Aragón. Conceived in the manner of an archaeological excavation site, the building of silent forms will evoke the memory of the terrible battles that destroyed Teruel during the winter of 1937-1938, in the course of one of the final major confrontations of the Spanish Civil War.
