En Construcción 1. In detail

The volume – bilingual (Spanish and English) and in digital form only – presents a selection of twelve buildings published in the 'Construction' section of the magazine AV Proyectos. Its 180 pages gather comprehensive sets of technical plans, details, and photographs of the construction process of several major buildings completed in recent years.  The collection includes, among other examples, new museum buildings such as the Tate Modern extension in London by Herzog & de Meuron and the Kunsthaus Zürich by David Chipperfield; interventions on heritage like the renovation of La Samaritaine in Paris by SANAA; and innovative types like the Taipei Performing Arts Center by OMA or the Waste Treatment Plant in Copenhagen by BIG.
