¿What will our lives, homes and jobs be like in the future? This is the question that will be addressed by the International Building Exhibition 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA’27), that aims to provide examples to make a journey into the future visible and tangible through ambitious building projects. IBA'27 will put people at the heart of the project, using dialogue to provide new answers to the question of how to successfully implement the social, technological and ecological transition.

Various activities, tenders and competitions in the fields of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture will take place until the opening of the exhibition. IBA'27 offers an international newsletter to keep architecture and planning firms informed so that they can participate in the activities. Subscriptions can be made here.

International Building Exhibition 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA’27) launched a call for projects in October 2018 and since then has been working with investors, local authorities and research institutes on future-related topics of concern for the Stuttgart region, but also on the international architecture and urban planning scene.
