Among the manicured meadows of the Westside of Los Angeles, real groves of signs emerge on which the ominous warning can be read: ≪Armed Response≫. Other even richer areas, located in the hollows and hillsides, are protected behind walls guarded by sworn guards armed to the teeth and display all the art related to electronic surveillance.

In Hollywood, celebrated architect Frank Gehry, known for his humanism, idealizes that fortress-like appearance in a library designed to look like a foreign legion fort.
