The competition organized by Lafarge España and the Miguel Fisac Chair of the Toledo School of Architecture sought a proposal for the transformation of an old warehouse of the cement factory, a property of the company, into a multipurpose space with exhibition galleries and a training center for the Toledo town of Villaluenga de la Sagra. Out of 143 entries, three have been selected. The first prize, coming with an award of 8,000 euros, went to Francisco Jorquera and Gerard Bastidas for their ‘Fourth Wall’ project, which creates different areas by means of a concrete wall; the second, with 3,000 euros, to Rubén Picado and María José de Blas for ‘Concrete in Bubbles’; and the third, with 2,000 euros, to Alfredo Baladrón Carrizo for ‘Nemo propheta in patri’.
