The Paris practice of the architect Odile Decq has released images of a residential building she has designed that will soon be starting to go up at Plaza de Levante in Barcelona. With 28 floors and 89 luxury apartments ranging between 98 and 386 square meters, the white tower will be crowned with the red of the top floors, applying the entasis of classical columns to achieve a similar tapering effect.
In a huge, triple-height foyer, a curved green wall is to lead into a private garden. Studio Odile Decq will design the interior finishes with fluid organic forms, optimizing views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea by means of floor-to-ceiling windows and wide sinuous terraces.
