This sport center in Rotterdam combines the facilities of three clubs: two for football, one for hockey. This is made possible by the interior layout and the construction solutions applied in the external enclosure. Designed by the Dutch firm NL Architects, the building is located between the two main football playing fields. The upper level – where one finds a canteen, offices, and meeting rooms – is crowned by a pitched roof that becomes a two-sided grandstand on the outside. The ground level accommodates the changing rooms, hidden behind a slope clad with artificial grass. The interiors are differentiated by chromatic modules.
