The experimental house designed by Kersten Geers and David Van Severen (Office KGDVS) seeks to emphasize the Mediterranean landscape of the Cretas zone iof Teruel province. The sea backdrop and vegetation around give the place a high scenic value, and this is important for the conceptual development of the project. The structure is conceived as two horizontally positioned concrete rings containing three rooms. These spaces are bordered vertically by curved panels of glass and polycarbonate that can be moved along perimetral steel rails to other parts of the facade. In this way, the connection with nature is almost complete. The services are placed on the roof and treated as sculptures.
